How do I invest in a site?
Quick Reference
Remember - You can purchase shares directly from the web-site owner on the market, or from other players who are looking to sell that stock.
When considering purchasing a stock, make sure to review all offers available - ‘buy low, sell high’
Buy stock that you think will rise in value (web-page popularity/clicks) - consider the site’s topic in light of upcoming market events (for example, travel sites will rise in popularity in the months before summer)
You can purchase shares in a web-site in two ways. First, directly from the ExtZy market itself (issued by the owner of the site), or second, from other players who own shares and want to sell them. In either case, clicking on “Buy” will take you to the following screen:
Entity - The name of the web-page available for investment.
BuySell - That shares of that site are available for sale (“S”)
N - The total number of shares available.
Price - The cost per share for this offer.
Partial - Whether or not the seller has made their share available for purchase only as an entire block (“N”) or also as a partial purchase (“Y” - for example, buying 50 share of an available 773.)
FromDate - The date and time the offer was first made.
UntilDate - The date and time the offer expires.
Input the number of shares to purchase and click “Buy”. If you have a sufficient balance of points, you’ll be taken to a confirmation screen, and then back to your portfolio.
